Quotes
In order to receive an estimate about a commission, client may contact us though email, Twitter, or Telegram. Quotes are free and will require a reference sheet in order to receive an accurate estimate. Reference sheet does not need to be "high quality" but does need to include both a front and back example. Quotes are accurate for 3 months. After 3 months, the quote will expire and will need to be renewed. Quote does NOT include shipping costs.
Payment
To secure a commission slot, the client is required to pay a minimum 25% non-refundable down payment before work can start. This is to cover the expense of any materials that are needed. The remaining amount can be paid in full or be paid in consistent increments. Payment plans are flexible, but are required to be at least $250 a month or more. If client is on the waiting list, they are not required to provide their down-payment until they are moved into an official commission slot. Transactions occur through PayPal only. Client is not responsible for any PayPal business transaction fees. Product will not be shipped to client until the quoted amount is paid in full.

In the event of a late or missed payment, commission work will stop until next payment has been made regardless of deadline status.
Age
Client is required to be 18+ in order to commission Sittin Kitten Studios. If an individual under the age of 18 wishes to have their character commissioned, they are required to go through their parent or guardian in order to start the commissioning process.
Commission Policies
There are 4 official commission slots that exist at a time. The person in the 1st commission slot will have priority in regards to completion of their work. Work in lower slots may be started if materials for 1st slot have yet to arrive. Once 1st slot work is finished, the 2nd slot client will be moved to 1st slot, 3rd slot will be moved to 2nd slot, etc.

Sittin Kitten Studios has the right to refuse any commission. We do not take commissions from minors. We do not welcome character designs with racist, bigoted, or homophobic imagery or symbols. We do not accept individuals that have displayed racist, bigoted, or homophobic, or other inappropriate tendencies on the internet or in daily life. If the client that displays these tendencies commissions Sittin Kitten Studios regardless of this warning, work will stop immediately and a minimum refund will be issued.

Client is expected to provide all requested measurements within 2 weeks of the first down payment or latest request. Failure to provide measurements will result in me moving on to the next client resulting in longer wait times.

Work in progress pictures will be sent as frequently as possible to the client in the 1st commission slot. If the client sees anything they would like to change throughout the making process, please make it apparent as soon as possible. If the client wishes to change something, but requires already completed work to be undone, there will be an extra refurbishment fee added to the total quote amount. Client is limited to 2 of these undo-work changes per commission. However, this is not the case when we have made a mistake about the design provided in the reference sheet. Examples being an incorrect color or a misplaced marking. In that case, the work will be redone free of charge.

The client will not expect another makers style when commissioning Sittin Kitten Studios. If an individual provides an example another makers work and requests the product to "look more like this", the individual will be rejected as a client. There will also be no haggling with prices. Our base prices are set and will never go below what is posted. We also do not work for "exposure". We rarely do trade, so it would be advised not to ask unless we are mutuals. We do not create work of copyrighted characters unless the client is owner of said copyrighted character (Pokemon, Disney characters, Ect.). Sometimes they might have a resemblance to the character, but it most certainly is not ;).

Refunds and Repairs
After the work has been shipped, there is a 60 day warrantee should anything need to be repaired. This included damages such as popped seams, eyeball mesh popping out, loose teeth/tongue, horns, ect., and incorrect markings different than what was provided in the reference sheet. This does not include any preventable or purposeful damage to the product such as stains, crushing or excessive ripping. Damage that fall under this category will require a fee to repair.

Once the client pays the 25% down payment, it is not refundable. However, if no work has yet to be done and the client wishes to ask for a refund, any and all funds paid after the down payment will be refunded minus the Paypal transaction fees. If the client wants to cancel the commission in the middle of work, client has the right to a 75% refund on any pieces that have not been started, and a 50% refund on any pieces that have been started or complete. Sittin Kitten Studios has the right to complete any unfinished work and sell the product as a premade character. However, we will change the design significantly in order for the costume to no longer resemble the refunded client's character. Refunds will not be provided if product has already been shipped to the client. If the client wishes to receive a refund after receiving their product, they will be responsible for shipping the product back to the Sittin Kitten Studios location. Only after the product has been returned can the client receive their partial refund.
